https://ejournal.pnc.ac.id/index.php/madani/article/view/2198

The use of the word 'Anjing' (dog) as part of everyday language in Indonesia has undergone a cultural transformation. The word, originally defined as an animal, has shifted in meaning to become a term expressing a myriad of emotions, often used as a curse word. This social phenomenon is designed to capture the various interpretations of the word 'Anjing', both its original meaning (langue) and the meanings it has acquired over time (parole). This theme is significant in understanding the intentions behind the use of the word 'Anjing' in everyday language, whether it is used as an insult towards others or as a word devoid of meaning. The social activity employs an experimental method through the installation of an art exhibit called the 'mystery box', containing numerous writings related to the word 'Anjing', as well as audio and video displaying vocalizations of dogs. The results show that late adolescent and early adult subjects quickly interpret the word 'Anjing' as an insult. In contrast, early adolescent, late adult, and elderly subjects interpret 'Anjing' as an animal, without any tendency towards using it as an insult. This is supported by the use of different insults in the past and indicates the position of insults as cultural artifacts. Furthermore, the experiment serves as a reminder that each individual has a different interpretation of things, which cannot be imposed by others due to their differing experiences and knowledge.
Faridhian AnshariHelencia Putri Permata SariHeni Suryani

Empty land is often found in the community environment without being used for productive activities, such as in Blawong Village 1. This community service aims to foster awareness and independence of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in land utilization through horticultural cultivation activities. The method of community service activities is carried out by empowering KWT "Kecubung Batu" through the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, namely by involving each member in the active role of the activity. The form of community service activities is in the form of counseling and training in horticultural cultivation by making demonstration plots (demonstration plots) on empty land. Based on data that has been collected through field observations (observations) and interviews by providing questionnaires, the results obtained that almost 100% of community service activities have succeeded in increasing insight and skills for KWT Kecubung Batu in horticultural cultivation. In addition, the increase in insight and skills of KWT "Kecubung Batu" in utilizing the land for horticultural cultivation has also almost reached 100%. This is indicated by the results of community service activities, KWT “Kecubung Batu” has a productive garden as a means of empowering its members with horticultural cultivation.
Ismiasih IsmiasihSiwi Istiana DinartiHelmi Afroda

Banjarwaru Village is located in Nusa Wungu District and has several hamlets connected to the main road as access to transportation facilities. The lack of street lighting hampers the activities of village residents, especially at night. Road points that do not have public street lighting are far from residents' homes, so they cannot use PLN electricity sources. Seeing the conditions explained above, the need for technology with energy sources that utilize renewable energy such as solar power to supply power to public street lights has been widely implemented. Making street lights with a solar power supply with the application of modern technology is the main priority in this community service activity. The main target objective of this Community Service is the Public Street Lighting Program through the manufacture of street lights with power supply from solar energy. The implementation method in this service is through observation and experiments in the field in the process of designing and manufacturing public street lights and handing over technology transfer to the community. The results of making public street lights with solar energy supply using Arduino Mega which functions to receive data from the LDR sensor and is continued with testing battery charging with solar power. The installation of the LDR sensor will help the efficiency of the lights because it will control the lights to turn on automatically. The results of the manufacture of public street lights also provided assistance and training to the Banjarwaru Village community regarding how the equipment works and the repair process if problems arise in the future.
Arif SumardionoErna AlimudinZaenurrohman ZaenurrohmanFadhillah HazrinaHera Susanti

Empowering rural communities is essential for sustainable development, especially in the economic sector. This community service program aims to increase the sales capacity of the Sunyalangu Village Community Empowerment Cadres (KPMD) through digital marketing training. The main problems include simple packaging, conventional marketing methods, and poor business management practices. This program uses a community service method, Service Learning (SL), which involves practical steps such as product packaging training and digital marketing strategy workshops. This project significantly improved participants' skills in using sealer machines and promoting products online, especially on platforms like Shopee. The method of implementing strategic digital marketing communication training was carried out with a structured and interactive approach over two meetings. The results showed the importance of digital literacy in rural areas to achieve maximum business potential and improve economic sustainability. This training has successfully introduced participants to the world of online trading and provided them with practical skills in utilizing digital platforms to market processed products from the community.
Ummi AthiyahShintia Dwi AlikaAtika Ratna DewiMuhammad Quthb HabiburrahmanOktavia Jazilatus Sa’adahArif Wirawan Muhammad
