Pengembangan Transportasi Solo: Langkah Menuju Masa Depan Berkelanjutan
Abstract

The research method used a literature study with secondary data analysis from journals, reports, and current policies. Procedures included literature search and analysis to identify key issues and trends in public transportation integration. Qualitative analysis techniques were applied to synthesize the data and interpret the findings in the local context of Surakarta.
The results show that despite positive initiatives, such as Batik Solo Trans (BST) and feeders, significant challenges remain, including the use of fossil fuels and inadequate infrastructure. Conclusions highlight the need for improved energy efficiency and integration of transportation modes. Recommendations include fleet modernization, use of renewable energy, and improved accessibility to support sustainability.
The research suggests strategic measures to improve sustainable transportation, including multi-stakeholder cooperation and policies to incentivize the use of public transportation.
