Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

All papers submitted to the journal INFOTEKMESIN should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The official language of the manuscript to be published is in Bahasa Indonesia and English.The main text of a manuscript must be submitted as a Word document (.doc) file. The manuscript well-typed in two column on A4 size paper, use 10 pt of Times New Roman. The length of the manuscript is 4 to 10 pages, margins: top 2.5cm; left 2.5 cm; right 2.5 cm; bottom 2.5 cm.

1. GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES
All manuscripts must be submitted to INFOTEKMESIN Editorial using Online Submission at e-Journal portal address: https://ejournal.pnc.ac.id/index.php/infotekmesin where author register as Author by online. 2. MANUSCRIPT TEMPLATE
Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template. download the template of the Infotekmesin in here:Template INFOTEKMESIN

The manuscript should contain the following section in this order:

  1. Title: Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formula where possible. Consist of 10-15 words written in Bahasa.
  2. Abstract: The Abstract should summarize the content of the paper, abstract consist of 100-250 words. Do not have references or displayed equations in the abstract. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results, and major conclusions. Writing reference citations should be avoided in abstract.
  3. Introduction: State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
  4. Methodology: This should explain research approach, models and variables, and data sources. If the research based on primary data, explain research location, and the methods of data colection and analysis.
  5. Result and Discussion: This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
  6. Conclusions: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and Discussion section.
  7. Tables: Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. Tables can be placed either next to the relevant text in the article, or on a separate page(s) at the end. Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text and place any table notes above the table body. Be sparing in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in them do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. 
  8. References: Manuscripts are written by using standard citation application (Mendeley/Endnote/Zotero). Using in-text citation adhered to IEEE Style. The minimum number of references is 10 for Research Articles. All the reference in the references list must have been cited in the article body. The references must consist of at least 80% primary sources (journal articles and proceedings). Also, it is recommended that 80% of which comprise sources published in the past five years.
